ANA MARIA POP is a distributor specialising in beverages, food and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), serving a wide range of trade partners across the Traditional Trade, Modern Trade, HoReCa and Petrol Stations channels.
With more than 30 years of experience, our own logistics infrastructure and a dedicated distribution fleet, we keep our partners in Prahova County supplied efficiently and consistently from our logistics centre in Bucov.

A Romanian company, grown step by step
ANA MARIA POP SRL was founded in 1994 in Prahova County, Romania. For more than 30 years we have worked in wholesale trade and distribution, and our relationships with suppliers and customers have been built over time, through reliability and continuity.
We work in Prahova, one of the largest counties in Romania and a competitive market where reliability matters. We run all our operations from one place: our logistics base in Bucov, home to the offices, the warehouses, the delivery vehicles and our own retail shop.

From the supplier to our customer
Every order goes through the same four stages, coordinated by our team in Bucov.

Purchasing
We buy directly from manufacturers, importers and suppliers, and receive the goods into our warehouse.

Warehousing
Products are stored and tracked in the warehouse, so they are available whenever our customers need them.

Order picking
Our warehouse team prepares the orders and loads them onto the delivery vehicles.

Delivery
Our distribution vehicles deliver to customers across Prahova County, on planned routes.
Our sales agents take orders on tablets and send them in real time. We use electronic receipts and routing software for the distribution fleet, which we renew every 4–5 years.
Our base in Bucov
Since 2008 we have worked from our own hall in Bucov, near Ploiesti. It houses the offices, the warehouses and the yard where goods are loaded and unloaded.

Close to the main roads
Heavy trucks reach us easily, and from here we head quickly onto every major route in the county: Ploiesti – Mizil – Buzau, Ploiesti – Boldesti – Valenii de Munte, the DN1 towards Bucharest and the Prahova Valley, plus deliveries in Ploiesti.

Ramps for suppliers and for deliveries
Each warehouse has two unloading ramps for supplier goods and two side loading bays for our distribution vehicles, so receiving and dispatch run side by side.

The right conditions for each product
Beer needs special conditions to stay fresh, and coffee needs controlled humidity and light. Our warehouses are set up for each type of product, and stock is managed on a FIFO basis: goods received first are shipped first. This ensures continuous stock rotation, so products reach our customers fresh.
Our shop
Alongside distribution, ANA MARIA POP also runs its own retail shop, right at the Bucov base. There you will find products from the range we distribute, from drinks and coffee to confectionery, snacks and staple foods, at good prices.
The shop is at Str. Tineretului nr. 10, Bucov, the same address as our logistics base.
